Let me preface this review by stating the following: I did like "Knocked Up", and "The Ugly Truth" is similar in the language and vulgarity. I would not take anyone under the age of 17 to this film – personally.
This romantic comedy had me laughing and crying the entire time I was in the theater. I can appreciate the film, but thought that it may be different that the cliché plot that it possesses. I also appreciate the transformations of the main characters played by Katherine Heigl, Gerard Butler, and Eric Winter.
I really do not want to say too much because I don't want to be a movie reviewer that gives spoilers – well, whenever possible. I was happy to see Gerard Butler away from the "300" persona, but really wanted to see him without his clothes on again. Katherine Heigl again wow'ed me on screen with her acting skills. To go from "Grey's Anatomy" to films like "The Ugly Truth" and "Knocked Up" just astonishes me. Kudos to the entire cast and crew.

Would I see this film again? I don't know. I probably will. I thought it was very funny, but, like "Knocked Up", I may not seen it again.
Was I glad I saw it in the theater? Yes.
